Semuliki Safari Detailed Programme
Day 1: Drive to Semuliki National Park
After a wonderful breakfast, drive to Semuliki National Park and the drive will take you down to the eastern side of Lake Albert. Positioned in basin of the western Rift valley, Semuliki national park is among the parks with many habitats like Riparian forests, rain forests to short and high grass Savannah.
It is also known for its night game drives that reward you with nocturnal dwellers like the white tailed mongoose and slender mongoose, standard and pennant winged night jars, cats, hyenas and leopards among the many. It’s the only place in Uganda where you can do a spot lit night drive. The park generally offers lots of surprises as you never know what you might find.

Day 2 Semuliki Wild Chimpanzee primates Tracking Tour
enjoy a cup of tea before heading to the beautiful gallery rain forest on wild chimpanzee tracking. Chimps are usually tracked at dawn or dusk due to the fact that they tend to disappear in the middle of the day. There are also a number of bird species which are found in this picturesque forest. After a marvellous chimpanzee trek, you can in the afternoon relax at the pool or go game drive while you watch the sun dipping.
Enjoy the meals and the night at Semuliki safari Lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological site.
Day 3: Game Drive Safari, Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drive enroute as you move from Semuliki National a park. The journey will take you through the attractive green countryside eventually ascending the Western Rift Valley to Fort Portal. You will then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach in the late afternoon and proceed for a nature walk around the Mweya Peninsula where you spot game like the Uganda Kob, bush pigs, bush bucks, colobus monkeys and many others.

Day 4: Wildlife Tour And Chimpanzee Primate Tracking
Get you breakfast and go for a forest walk in the Kyambura gorge in trek for chimpanzees and other primates. Or else you may go for a walk in the Maramagambo forest to track primates. You will retire from the walk for lunch at the lodge and then go for a launch cruise in the afternoon. This boat trip will give you an interesting watch of game like hippos, buffaloes and many water birds.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Institute of Ecology.
Day 5: Game Drive Safari And Transfer Back To Kampala
Early in the morning before dawn, you will wake up a game drive in the Kasenyi track of the park to catch a glimpse of the early risers and predators going back to their hide outs. Retire from the game drive for late breakfast to pack lunch and drive back to Kampala. You will reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight at any of your booked Kampala hotel, lodge guest or house.
